Contemporary creations that preserve cultural assets through sustainability

Crafts are narrators of contemporary life. In the past, they were limited by the choice of materials, but now the changes in materials have brought infinite possibilities to craft creation. Finding a balance between exquisite techniques and modern materials allows crafts to not only carry history but also respond to contemporary needs. Therefore, we actively perpetuate traditional crafts in our creations.

 

The core of my creation revolves around "one scene, one mirror", and through the combination of sustainable materials and intangible cultural asset crafts, I explore the deep dialogue between crafts, nature and humanity. In my creation, unlike the usual themes of traditional crafts, I start with daily elements such as plants at home and street corners, and translate nature and memory through velvet craftsmanship, making it a medium for cultural inheritance and personal emotions. It is not only a continuation of traditional crafts, but also a reflection of the changing times.

 

As craft culture gradually fades in our daily lives, I hope to integrate these centuries-old wisdom into contemporary life through research, creation and experience, so that craftsmanship will not only exist in museums or memories, but also become a bridge for people to connect emotionally and think about the future. Through sustainable creation, I hope to arouse more people's attention to cultural assets and sustainable symbiosis, so that craftsmanship will continue to shine in the passage of time.
